Launching of Data Protection Guidelines on the processing of visual images in schools

The launching of the Data Protection Guidelines on the processing of visual images in schools was held at the Robert Sammut Hall, Floriana. All heads of schools/assistant heads together with representatives of the Office of the Prime Minister, of the Education Division and of the Private Shools Association were invited to the event. The meeting was opened by the Data Protection Commissioner, who also chaired the discussion. The Director (Operations) of the Education Division and the Chairperson of the Private School Association also addressed those present.
Dr Roberta Peresso from the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner delivered a presentation on behalf of the Committee.
